Required Certifications for Pool Attendant Roles

To qualify for positions such as Lifeguard or Swim Instructor, you’ll need to complete the following courses:

  • Bronze Medallion

  • Bronze Cross

  • Standard First Aid with CPR-C

  • Lifesaving/Swim for Life Instructor

  • National Lifeguard Certification

Bronze Medallion

Teaches water rescue principles such as judgment, fitness, skill, and knowledge. Includes advanced rescue scenarios and CPR-A.
